Peer Support Worker
(Mental Health Link Worker)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £21,694 per annum
Location: Based within the community across Worcestershire
The post holder will work directly with groups of adults experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression in a safe, non-judgemental setting. The aim of the role is to promote greater wellbeing in a group environment, creatively enabling individuals to experience the well-researched benefits of peer support.
You will help prepare, organise and facilitate Peer Support Groups across Worcestershire with a view to empowering people and encouraging them to grow their own wider social support networks. There is a positive emphasis upon self-help, personal growth and learning to embrace change.
The role would suit someone who has a passionate commitment to promoting positive mental health within the community and who can confidently relate to people from all walks of life. They will require good interpersonal skills, a high level of self-awareness and will be a good listener. Some degree of lived experience of overcoming mental health
difficulties together with a basic knowledge of group dynamics and group process would be especially useful.
The post-holder would also need to be organised, IT literate and able to input
activity data regularly.

Children and Young Person Mental Health Link Worker (GAMME Service)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £20,657 per annum

The post holder will facilitate peer support groups for children and young people. They will also facilitate additional groups provided by partner organisations. The groups will be designed to support young people to improve their social wellbeing through socialising, building confidence and exploring the 5 ways to wellbeing.

Mental Health Practitioner (Active Monitoring Service)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £21,694 per annum (following successful completion of probation)
Location: South Warwickshire PCN
Active Monitoring is a psycho-educational programme designed to provide early intervention provision within the Primary Care arena. With growing demands on Therapeutic Services resulting in increasing waiting lists it is getting more difficult for people to access the help they need in time. This role will involve working directly from a GP surgery delivering the Active Monitoring programme, the service complements/replaces the ‘watchful waiting function’ and proactively works with individuals on agreed pathways to support early intervention via a facilitated self-help model.

Community Mental Health Telephone Helpline Advisor
Hours: 37hrs
Salary: £21,837
Location: Bromsgrove
The CMH Telephone Helpline Advisor will manage calls from individuals who are experiencing a high level of mental health distress, their families and professionals. The role will work in close partnership with the NHS Community MH Teams in Bromsgrove, Droitwich & Redditch, acting as a link between individual, professional and other services by ensuring continuity of support by delivering an efficient and effective person-centred service.
The advisor role will navigate the individuals through defined pathways to enable delivery of the right help at the right time with the right outcome. In addition, the practitioner will be expected to undertake administrative duties to support this approach.
This role will form part of the transformation delivery model.

Mental Health Team Leader (Active Monitoring Service)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £25,170 per annum (following the successful completion of probation)
Location: South Warwickshire
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the effective, outcome focused day to day delivery of the Active Monitoring practitioners service for SWW Mind, ensuring that the service is meeting the requirements of the contract. The post holder will be responsible for providing a high-quality, service-user-focused service to local residents who are suffering from or recovering from mental health and/or wellbeing. The post holder will also work directly with individuals experiencing mental health challenges to meet their needs in terms of social factors, wellness, and other health determinants.
The Active Monitoring Team Leader will have to work in our partnerships of local PCN’s, community organisations and other external support agencies
This role will be instrumental in enabling individuals to link up all elements of treatment and support and help them to navigate both primary and secondary mental health services and wider community options.
