Enhancing Community Mental Health Through Training
Following an extremely successful two days with a volunteer community group facilitating the Mental Health First Aider® course, our lead trainer, Paol Stuart Thomson, highlights how valuable mental health training is in the community.
He has been delivering the Mental Health First Aid in the community for South Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind since 2017, and the feedback has always been impactful and extremely positive. Not only is it beneficial for the participants, it also helps generate funds for our local Mind (South Warwickshire & Worcestershire Mind) to support the charity’s vision; that everyone deserves better mental health.
