What's Happening This Mental Health Awareness Week?
This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 13 – 19 May and the theme is ‘Moments for Movement’. With this in ‘mind’ (sorry not sorry) we’ve got an exciting calendar of events happening!
Nuffield Fitness & Wellness Centre Warwick and Worcester – Rowing Challenge & Information Day
The team at Nuffield Health Warwick and Worcester will be running a week-long fundraiser ‘How far can you row in a minute?’. Can you get on the leaderboard and bag yourself a prize? You don’t need to be a member, just pop by.
There will be plenty of information there on managing your mental health too, and about our services in the region. In addition to the week-long rowing challenge, on designated days, we will also have dedicated staff from SWWMind you can talk to about our services.

Wellbeing Walk
A gentle stroll around Stratford to walk and talk, meet at the Fred Winter Centre at 3pm on Thursday 16th May.
Wellbeing Drop-Ins & Peer Support Groups
Across the counties we’ll have movement-themed groups taking place. Try to Shake off your Anxiety with a therapeutic technique and tap into your body’s own healing resources, or maybe release physical tension with our body scanning meditations. You’ll also have the opportunity to have a go at some reflective and creative mindfulness activities.
